Some solid Vancouver speed metal here, as dingy and vile as the downtown metropolis Assault so earnestly represent. The only reason you might actually care about this band at first blush is the fact that this was Ray Hartmann's hardly-humble abode before jumping ship and joining then-burgeoning Annihilator. Hartmann has a relatively multifarious resume that I have already checked out partially, including acts like Random Damage; he continues to remain a busy musician to this day. Survival in the Street, while arguably dated even at the time of its release, still has some glint left amidst its now-obsidian carapace and delivers plenty of classic metal tropes, razing a rather broad swath of urban terrain in the process.
